Brainiac is a
super special awesome way to express yourself on the
web.
When you have a
random thought that just isn't cut out for your emo-tastic
LiveJournal, or you don't feel like wasting everyone else's time and yours with a
random entry on twitter,
Brainiac is there to
connect just what's on your
mind together into a
web of interconnected ideas in an effort to
defeat that boy scout Kal-El*ahem* to present a creative way to express your ideas that hasn't been done to
death with all those
trendy web applications everyone and their
mother has heard about.
That is, at least for now, before everyone catches on to just how cool this application is
so I may collect all the information this planet has to provide and destroy this wretched species! This here program is made with 90% home-grown PHP and SVG hacking with a little bit of JavaScript on the side. Use of GreyBox Redux and the fancy rich text forms provided by the wonderful FCKEditor prevented this from being 100% home-grown, but we're still damn proud of what we've got.
Brainiac is brought to you by
Enrique Santos,
David Hollis,
Andy Davis,
Bobby King,
Amir Sattari, and
Carlos Isales. Together we are Rejected Knights of the Lambda Calculus (notice how we didn't use any
LISP). We rocked too hard for those dudes because we didn't want to recurse all the time, it just ain't right man. If god wanted us to call ourselves all the time, he wouldn't have made modest people, like us (we're awesome like that).
Human.
Yeah, we're pretty awesome.
Now I am showing this project off to my dad.
i am here grading for cs1372
